Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, OON (born 3 February 1941 in Lagos, Nigeria), is a distinguished Nigerian actress, journalist, television presenter, and cosmetologist. She began her acting career in 1966 with Wole Soyinka's "The Lion and the Jewel" at London's Royal Court Theatre. A feminist and advocate for women's rights, she was the first editor of Africa Woman magazine in the 1970s. Her notable film credits include "Oloibiri," "Elesin Oba," and "Malaika." In recognition of her contributions to the arts, she was honored with the Officer of the Order of the Niger in 2006 and received the Industry Merit Award at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards.
