Biography

Temi Fagbenle, born Temitọ́pẹ́ Títílọlá Fagbenle on September 8, 1992, is a Nigerian-British professional basketball player known for her impact in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and international competitions. Born in Baltimore, United States, to a Nigerian family, she grew up in London where she developed her passion for basketball before continuing her career in the U.S. She played college basketball at Harvard University and the University of Southern California, earning multiple honors before being drafted into the WNBA in 2016. Fagbenle won a WNBA championship with the Minnesota Lynx in 2017 and has since built a strong professional career across Europe and the United States, earning titles and individual accolades. Internationally, she has represented Great Britain, including at the 2012 Olympic Games, and later became team captain, reflecting her leadership and experience. Known for her athleticism and versatility, she remains a key figure in women’s basketball.
