Gingerrr Hits ₦322 Million and Still Climbing — UK Release Begins November 1

After four straight weekends as Nigeria’s highest-grossing movie, Gingerrr shows no signs of slowing down. The comedy-drama has now crossed ₦322 million at the box office and is gearing up for its international debut, arriving in UK cinemas on November 1, 2025, with advance screenings on October 31 in select locations.
Executive producer Ope Ajayi shared how proud he is of the film’s journey so far, describing Gingerrr as a testament to creativity, collaboration, and persistence. “I’m often very critical of myself and any project I’m involved in, but this one is truly special,” he wrote. “The amazing ladies behind the film - Kiekie, Bisola Aiyeola, Wumi Toriola, and Bolaji Ogunmola, have worked tirelessly to make Gingerrr a success. This collaboration and entire journey will be talked about for years to come.”
Produced by Yemi "FilmBoy" Morafa, with support from Onyeka "mznformed", and Cots Productions, Gingerrr has captured audiences with its sharp humor, relatable storytelling, and vibrant performances. Its sustained box office success is proof that audiences can’t get enough and with its UK release around the corner, the excitement is about to spread even further.
