Biography

Araloyin Oshunremi is a standout talent of his generation, known for bringing deep vulnerability and grit to his performances. Born in the U.S. and raised in inner-city London, he originally aspired to be a professional footballer. His entry into acting was purely fated; while visiting a random barber shop in Hackney on a bank holiday Sunday at age 13, he was approached by a street caster with a flyer for Top Boy. Oshunremi landed the role of Stefan (Stef) Tovell, the youngest brother of Jamie, and grew up on screen over the course of three seasons (2019–2023). His portrayal of a young boy navigating grief and the cycle of violence in London earned him widespread critical acclaim. Since the conclusion of Top Boy, he has successfully transitioned into diverse genres, including the heartwarming world of Heartstopper and the intense, grounded drama of the 2025/2026 film season.
