Blake Clark is an American stand-up comedian and actor with a distinctive raspy southern voice. He is best known to modern audiences as the voice of Slinky Dog in the Toy Story franchise, a role he inherited after the passing of his close friend, the original voice actor Jim Varney, in 2000. Clark is a frequent collaborator with Adam Sandler, appearing in many of his films including The Waterboy (as the incoherent "Farmer Fran"), 50 First Dates, Little Nicky, and Grown Ups. Before his acting career, he was a decorated Infantry Platoon Leader in the Vietnam War. He has officially been confirmed to return as Slinky Dog in "Toy Story 5" (2026). He also recently appeared in the Netflix sequel "Happy Gilmore 2" (2025).
