Earnest Lee Hudson is a veteran American actor with a career spanning over five decades. He is best known globally for his iconic role as Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters franchise (appearing in the original 1984 film, its sequel, and the recent Afterlife and Frozen Empire installments). He has joined the cast of "Toy Story 5" (2026) to provide the voice for Combat Carl, the G.I. Joe-style action figure. He is taking over the role from the late Carl Weathers, who voiced the character in Toy Story of Terror! and Toy Story 4. Hudson is also celebrated for his roles as Warden Leo Glynn in the HBO series Oz, Sergeant Albrecht in The Crow (1994), and his recent work in the Quantum Leap reboot and Grace and Frankie.
