Tim Allen (born Timothy Alan Dick) is a celebrated American actor and comedian whose career has defined family entertainment for over three decades. He rose to fame as the stand-up comedian behind the "Men Are Pigs" routine, which evolved into the hit sitcom "Home Improvement" (1991–1999), where he played Tim "The Toolman" Taylor. He is a Disney Legend, best known globally as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the Pixar Toy Story franchise and as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus in The Santa Clause trilogy and the recent Disney+ series The Santa Clauses. ost recently, he stars in the ABC sitcom "Shifting Gears" (2025), where he plays a widower and car restoration shop owner.
