Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio, born November 11, 1974, in Los Angeles, is an American actor and producer renowned for his versatile roles in film. He began his career in the early 1990s with television appearances and commercials before gaining recognition in movies like This Boy’s Life (1993) and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), the latter earning him his first Academy Award nomination. His portrayal of Jack Dawson in Titanic (1997) catapulted him to international stardom. Over the years, DiCaprio has collaborated with acclaimed directors such as Martin Scorsese in films like Gangs of New York (2002), The Aviator (2004), and The Departed (2006). His performance in The Revenant (2015) earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor.
