Gosi travels to Ekiti for his best friend Derin’s wedding. Adamma, Gosi’s wife stays behind due to an illness but encourages Gosi to have a good time at the wedding. Gosi is driving the newlyweds back to the hotel when they are attacked by bandits posing as cattle herdsmen. Halil, the leader of the breakaway bandit group orders Anas his lieutenant, who has eyes on Derin to roundup the group as they vanish into the forest. Garba, the DSS officer in charge of the anti-kidnapping desk in Ekiti is called into the station from the hospital where his wife has just given birth to their first child.

This movie tells a story of love, distance, and everything they don’t tell you about marriage across borders. Couples think love at face value would fix everything... until reality hits different in the diaspora.
