Rich Moore is an acclaimed animation director whose career spans some of the most influential animated TV shows and films of the last 30 years. He was one of the original three directors on The Simpsons during its golden age and served as a supervising director on Futurama. He joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2008, where he directed the gaming hit Wreck-It Ralph (2012) and co-directed the billion-dollar blockbuster Zootopia (2016) alongside Byron Howard, winning an Oscar for the latter. He also directed the sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018). In 2019, he left Disney to join Sony Pictures Animation (producing Vivo), and later moved to Skydance Animation in 2022, where he is currently developing a new feature film (reportedly an adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk).
