Jared Bush is a powerhouse screenwriter, director, and producer at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He joined Disney in 2011 and quickly became a key architect of their modern renaissance. He gained massive acclaim for co-directing and writing the original Zootopia (2016) and writing the screenplay for Moana (2016). In 2021, he directed and wrote the global phenomenon Encanto, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. In September 2024, he was named the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, overseeing the creative output of the entire studio. He returns to the director's chair (alongside Byron Howard) for the highly anticipated Zootopia 2 in 2025.
