Biography
Tim Greene is a South African filmmaker, writer, and director, best known for his contribution to the South African film industry through innovative storytelling and independent film production. Tim made a significant mark with his debut feature film, A Boy Called Twist (2004), a South African retelling of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. The film was notable not only for its unique local adaptation but also for being one of South Africa’s first crowd-funded films, with hundreds of individuals investing in the project.
