Wandile Molebatsi is a South African actor, producer, casting director, and musician born on March 21, 1991, in Soweto. He studied drama and film at the University of the Witwatersrand and began his career as a child actor on shows such as KTV, Born Free, and Cry. He rose to prominence with notable television roles, including Blessing Dlamini in The Wild, Duma in Scandal!, and appearances in Diamond City, Dream World, Intersexions, Guilt, and Rhythm City. On film, he is best known for playing Muntu Ndebele in A Million Colours, and has also appeared in Hear Me Move, Chappie, Revolt, Machine Gun Preacher, and Skeem. Beyond acting, Wandile co-founded Coal Stove Pictures, a Johannesburg-based production company that has produced films and TV series including Hear Me Move and Guilt. He is also passionate about music, having begun in his father’s church band and later performing with the group Uju. Wandile is married to fashion designer Jessica Jane, and together they have two children, Elijah Aruna and Onalenna.
