Walter Taylaur, also known as Waltbanger, is a Nigerian film director, screenwriter, and producer renowned for his contributions to Nollywood's evolution. He is the founder of Waltbanger 101 Productions, a company dedicated to producing compelling African narratives. Taylaur's directorial portfolio includes the romantic drama A Sunday Affair (2023), the crime thriller Jolly Roger (2022), the whodunit Catch.er (2017), and the dark comedy Gbomo Gbomo Express (2015). His work on Gbomo Gbomo Express earned him a nomination for Best Director at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards. In addition to directing, Taylaur has been recognized for his editing skills, winning the Best Editing award at the 2022 Africa Movie Academy Awards.
