Ariana Harwicz is one of the most radical and acclaimed figures in contemporary Latin American literature. Her writing is famously "violent, ironic, and erotic," often dissecting the stifling nature of conventional family life and the "monstrous" side of motherhood. She studied screenwriting and drama in Argentina before moving to France, where she earned high-level degrees in performing arts and literature.
