Biography
Ben Hardy is an English actor known for both television and film roles. He grew up in Sherborne and attended Sherborne Abbey Primary School, then The Gryphon School, where his interest in acting flourished — he appeared in a student-film adaptation of Far from the Madding Crowd while still in school. His professional stage debut came with The Judas Kiss (2012), playing Arthur Wellesley in a production that moved from Hampstead Theatre to the West End. His television breakthrough followed soon after, when he took on the role of Peter Beale in the BBC soap EastEnders (2013-2015). Transitioning to film, he made his feature debut in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) as Archangel. Other notable film work includes his portrayal of Roger Taylor in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), among roles in Mary Shelley, Only the Brave and 6 Underground. Hardy has shown versatility by moving between period dramas, biopics and genre-films. He continues to work in both film and television, steadily building a reputation for dependable performances and choosing varied, often challenging roles.
