Mia Tomlinson is a British actress. She grew up in North London as the eldest of three children. Her mother, Nichole Rees, is a photographer, and her father, Marcus Tomlinson, is a director and visual artist. She was educated at Fitzjohn’s Primary School, later North Bridge House, and went on to earn her degree in English and French from King’s College London. Her acting career began in earnest in 2021. That year she had two breakthrough roles: she played Anne Bonny in the Netflix docuseries The Lost Pirate Kingdom, and starred as Lena in the BritBox thriller The Beast Must Die. In 2025 she takes on a leading role as Judy Warren in the horror film The Conjuring: Last Rites. Besides acting, Tomlinson has been involved in writing, directing, and production work, particularly in visual arts. She draws on her upbringing surrounded by artistic parents and has contributed to projects beyond performance, including collaborations using her family’s artistic influence. She continues to develop her craft across film, television, and creative design.
