Danny Trejo is one of Hollywood’s most recognizable character actors, famous for his rugged appearance, gravelly voice, and roles as tough guys, villains, and anti-heroes. His path to stardom was unconventional; following a troubled youth involving drug addiction and imprisonment in San Quentin and Folsom, Trejo became a champion boxer while incarcerated.
