Biography
Timothy Richard Heidecker (born February 3, 1976 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is an American comedian, writer, actor, director, and musician. He first came to public attention via his creative partnership with Eric Wareheim; together they form the duo Tim & Eric, known for offbeat sketch comedy and absurdist humor. They launched shows such as Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! on Adult Swim, and later moved into film, including Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie. Beyond comedy, Heidecker has built a notable musical career with solo albums and collaborations, exploring styles ranging from comedic rock to earnest folk rock. He hosts On Cinema, a parody film review series, and Office Hours Live, a call-in show featuring music, commentary, and comedy. He currently lives in California with his wife, Marilyn Porayko, and their children. His work often blends satire with sincerity, using humor to challenge norms while also expressing personal themes such as aging, parenthood, and creative identity. He continues to alternate between his comedic roots and more introspective musical work.
