Uche Odoh

Biography

Uche Odoh is a multifaceted Nigerian creative who began her career in front of the camera before finding her true calling behind it. She first gained public attention as a contestant in the 2007 Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) competition. She subsequently had a successful modeling career, appearing in campaigns for major brands and music videos for artists like Wizkid ("Hola at your Boy"). Driven by a passion for storytelling, she pivoted to filmmaking, studying at the Vancouver Film School and later earning a Master's degree from MetFilm School London. She honed her skills as a First Assistant Director on massive Nollywood blockbusters like King of Boys and Up North. She made her mark as a director with the web series Life As It Is (2019), which earned an AMVCA nomination. In 2022, she released her directorial feature debut, Hell Ride.
